Jack Baynes Memorial Donations

John G. “Jack” Baynes

NATA Hall of Famer and former District One Director John G. “Jack” Baynes passed away September 21, 2016 in Mansfield, MA. Baynes was the former Head Athletic Trainer at Northeastern University and a charter member of ATOM. Jack was part of the medical staff at the 1975 Pan American Games and 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. He is a Past-President of the Arizona Athletic Trainers’ Association. Baynes was inducted into the ATOM Hall of Fame and the Northeastern University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Those wishing to remember Jack may do so with a donation in his memory made to the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Foundation. Accepting donations through the Foundation allows the donations to be tax-deductible, and also allows them to be paid online.

IMPORTANT: When you fill in your information on the donation page, type in:

"Donation directed to the Frank George Scholarship Endowment." This will insure that the funds are used to support a student from District 1 or District 2 (EATA), as per Jack's wishes.

On the donation page, check the box that says: "Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone" and complete the information.

Cards can be directed to Jack's wife Connie:
